    Itinerary

    Day 1 NJP/IXB to Gangtok transfer

    Upon arrival at IXB/NJP, you will be warmly greeted by our representative who will escort you to Gangtok. The journey to Gangtok, located at an altitude of 5500ft and serving as the capital of Sikkim, spans approximately 110kms and takes around 4 hours. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 2 Gangtok to Lachen transfer (North Sikkim)

    After having breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Gangtok and transferred to Lachen. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit Sighik Viewpoint, Chumthang Valley, Twin Falls, and Vima Falls. By late afternoon or early evening, you will reach Lachen, where you will be greeted by snow-capped peaks, the Shingbha wildlife sanctuary, Gurudongmar Lake, Chopta Valley, and Thangu, all of which are major attractions. Lachen is a valley embraced by majestic snow-covered mountains and serves as the starting point for the Green Lake Trek. The village is nestled between towering rock faces, giving it an almost hidden and serene atmosphere, reminiscent of Shangri-La. Check into a hotel and enjoy a welcome tea. The evening is free for leisurely strolls and a visit to the Lepcha Village. Overnight stay at a hotel in Lachen.

    Day 3 Sight seeing to Gurudongmer Lake & transfer to Lachung

    mbark on an early morning drive to Thangu Village, situated at an altitude of 13625 feet (4100 meters). This remote high altitude village is inhabited by Tibetan Nomads. Continue the journey to Chopta Valley, where you can enjoy the mesmerizing view of the alpine valley adorned with frozen rivers (outer view only). From Chopta Valley, drive for approximately 30 kilometers in 1.5 hours to reach Gurudongmar Lake, located at an elevation of 17375 feet (5225 meters). This sacred lake, surrounded by a valley at an altitude of 11,800 feet, is often covered in snow from December to April and holds great significance. After lunch, proceed towards Lachung, a journey of 49 kilometers taking around 2 hours. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Lachung.

    Day 4Excursion to Yumthang Valley & transfer back to Gangtok

    After having breakfast, begin an early morning half-day excursion to Yumthang Valley. On the way, visit the Hot Spring and Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary. The natural beauty of Switzerland and Yumthang Valley often appear remarkably similar in photographs. Yumthang, situated at an altitude of 12,000 feet, is approximately 135 kilometers away from Gangtok. The months of April and May offer a vibrant display of colorful flowers and orchids, while from the end of November to March, the valley is typically covered in snow. Return to Lachung for lunch, followed by the onward journey back to Gangtok. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 5Excursion to Tsangoo Lake & Baba Mandir

    After enjoying breakfast, embark on a half-day trip to Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake, with its oval shape, stretches for about 1 kilometer in length and reaches a depth of 15 meters. It holds great religious significance for the local people. Following the lake visit, proceed to Baba Mandir, a temple dedicated to the disappeared army personnel, situated 18 kilometers away from the lake. Return to Gangtok afterwards. In the evening, you have free time in Gangtok for shopping and individual activities. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel. (Note: An optional tour to Nathula, the Indo-China border, is available. It is located 20 kilometers from Tsomgo Lake and requires a special permit for Indian tourists, which can be obtained at an additional cost in Gangtok. Please note that Nathula is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Overnight stay at a hotel in Gangtok.)

    Day 6 Gangtok to NJP/IXB transfer

    Transfer to IXB/NJP ( 125kms / 4.5hrs). Tour End.
